AICP’s new The RTO Standards Unpacked! course is the only Compliance professional development that your RTO Compliance staff will need to ensure your RTO’s ongoing compliance obligations are met.

This non-accredited bespoke course has been specifically developed by Alex Schroder, Australia’s leading VET Forensic Auditor, RTO Rectification Specialist and creator of CIV in RTO Compliance and Diploma of RTO Compliance Management and is 100% contextualised to RTO Operations and Compliance.

The course consists of 3 components which are accessible in 3 staggered stages to ensure course participants have sufficient time to absorb and reflect on the information provided in each component, before moving onto the next.

Who should undertake this component?

As an RTO Compliance Practitioner, you cannot be fully effective unless you have a complete and comprehensive understanding of the interpretation and application of the clauses within the Standards for RTOs.​

This course component should be undertaken by anyone who has an interest in RTO Compliance, and specifically:

This component goes more in-depth than Component 1 of the course and explains in detail how to use the Standards in the management of your RTO's compliance systems.

Rectification Strategies for Success

Who should undertake this component?

This component goes more in-depth than Components 1 and 2 of the course. In this component, we look at how to rectify the most common non-compliances identified by the Regulator.

​This course component should be undertaken by anyone who has an interest in RTO Compliance Management and the rectification of non-compliances, and specifically:

• Compliance Managers

• Senior RTO Management

Why is RTO compliance so important?

In a highly-regulated VET sector, your RTO's compliance with the NVR Act and other legislative requirements, the RTO Standards and the various other laws and regulations is critical. ASQA’s focus on Provider Self-Assurance means that your RTO must be able to demonstrate practices, systems and processes to critically examine its performance and student outcomes on an ongoing basis.
